Journey, currently out on tour living their best lives with Def Leppard, have thrown their hats into the covers game...only, this one's for charity.

Ultimate Classic Rock has the full story, but Journey have released a cover of the Police's "Synchronicity II" to benefit the Rock Against Trafficking Charity, a benefit established by musicians to bring attention and awareness to the human trafficking issue across the world.

The cover was done by Journey's Neal Schon, Arnel Pineda and Steve Smith. Conspicuous in his absence was Jonathan Cain, who is currently touring with his Journey bandmates.

Journey's take on the Police will be one of many interpretations of different Police songs from a variety of artists, all being put together on a future album to benefit Rock Against Trafficking. Contributing artists are Glenn Hughes, Santana, Jon Anderson, and Slash.
