FERG BLURBS -- Can We Get Oasis Back Together Or Nah?

August 3, 2017

So, Liam Gallagher, formerly of Oasis, just had a pretty interesting interview with the Huffington Post about a variety of things (Check it out here), and while it's all well and good to chat about his new solo project, Liam was asked the inevitable questions about what it would take to get back together with his brother Noel, and reform Oasis.

It's not secret the Gallgher boys just can't seem to get along, and Noel has certainly gone on and done his own thing with his High Flying Birds band, but Liam says that, where they could start, is by simply liking each other again.

That floors me. Imagine how bad their relationship must be that, outside of a few awkward shouting matches and conversations here and there, Liam and Noel Gallagher, BROTHERS, can't stand to spend any time with each other. Two guys that could have taken over the music world (And, admittedly, did for a brief period), just can't get back on the same page. It's rather sad.

Liam spoke glowingly of his time in Oasis in the inteview, and is certainly keen on reforming that union. I think, ultimately, that's gonna rely on his ability to mend the fences with his brother Noel, first.

Liam's new solo record is titled "As You Were" and is due out October 5th.
